Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

Razor Benefits Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit razorbenefits.com or contact us for an insurance or benefits consultation, how we use that information, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you submit through our forms (name, email, phone, company, employee count, industry, message).
  • Technical data your browser sends automatically (IP address, device type, referring page).
  • Records of communications you have with our advisors.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide quotes and consultations.
  • To service active client relationships, including renewals and compliance.
  • To improve and secure the website and prevent abuse.

Sharing

We share information with insurance carriers and underwriters only as needed to prepare a quote or service your coverage, and with service providers who help us operate the site (hosting, email, analytics). We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies from our website, scheduling, and marketing tools (including HubSpot) to remember your preferences, measure page traffic, and understand which pages lead to inquiries. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site, such as the scheduling calendar, may not work correctly if you do. We honor browser-level Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

Calls and emails

When you submit a form with your phone number, you consent to receive calls and emails from a licensed advisor about your request, including calls placed with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can opt out at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or ask us on a call to place you on our internal Do Not Call list.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond and to meet insurance recordkeeping and regulatory requirements, and client records for the retention period required by applicable state insurance law. After that, information is deleted or anonymized.

Your choices and privacy rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing mike@razorbenefits.com. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its correction or deletion, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To submit a request, email us at the address above; we will verify your identity before responding and will reply within the timeframe your state requires. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure; please contact us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized access.
